Ali Vafa MD, MPH is the medical director and founder of vafaMD 

He has had years of extensive training in Medical Aesthetics and performs a large number of cosmetic procedures. He holds a Doctorate in Medicine, a Masters of Public Health, a Bachelors of Science in Biology, as well as a Bachelors of Art in Fine Art. He is a physician as well as an accomplished painter and sculptor who has had his work exhibited in galleries in New York, Los Angeles, Paris and Vancouver, among other cities. His background in art combined with his extensive training and experience in medical aesthetics makes him the ideal practitioner of cosmetic medicine.

Dr. Vafa specializes in: Botox Cosmetic, Dysport, Xeomin, Dermal Fillers (such as Juvederm, Voluma, Restylane, Perlane, Boletero, Volbella and Radiesse), Sculptra, Kybella, Cosmetic Laser Procedures, Radio-Wave Surgery, Smartlipo and the treatment of acne and facial aesthetics.

He is a member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and regularly attends lectures and training seminars in the field of Aesthetic Medicine. Dr. Vafa performs several thousand aesthetics procedures yearly, making him one of a handful of physicians in New York who has been awarded a Diamond Level Provider designation from Allergan (a level designated to select number of physicians providing over 100,000 units of Botox Cosmetic treatments and/or over 2000 filler procedures per year). He was awarded the Presidential Elite Providerdesignation which is the highest level provider for Galderma, the makers of Sculptra, Dysport and Restylane and also a Black Level Premier Injectordesignation by Merz Aesthetics.
